Qualifications of CDL Truck Driver:
- Individuals are mandated to obtain a CDL Class A
- A non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is a mandatory credential or acquirable
- Applicants must demonstrate 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years to be eligible for the position
- Documentation from the Department of Motor Vehicles or Motor Vehicle Report covering three years, indicating two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines, including rules and standards established by relevant agencies
- Being present regularly and predictably is essential for success in this role
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others

- It is crucial for the staff member to have the competence to legally drive a motor vehicle and to safely and consistently enter and exit both the vehicle and its rear storage area.
